The Following directions will help guide photographers, who
are Already Registered and Approved for Open Air Stock
Images, through the process uploading YOUR images onto our web
site, so they can be viewed and sold.
These display images should be 500 pixels MAXIMUM on the
largest dimension, and no larger than 64kb.
Important! If you want the image(s) to be available
via a download, you will also have to
upload the Hi Resolution
Image(s) to a secure section of our web site.

1) Go to
www.OpenAirStockImages.com
2) Go to Photographers > Photographers Login (which takes you to
http://www.openairstockimages.com/stock-images/cb.php ).
3) Once logged in, go to "Media Manager", then select a category
to place your image into, for example "Saudi Arabia".
4) Click "Add New Media"
5) Fill out the following information on the form form, most of
which is self explanatory.
System Name - This is the
image file you want to upload. Click the "Browse" button and
navigate to the image on your computer (for example c:/MyPictures/Colorado/P56794.jpg).
The file location will be automatically populated with the
selected file name and path.
Display name - Display name
of the image "Key West Sunrise" or "Great Wall Of China 4568"
etc....
Author - Photographers Name
Copyright - Media copyright
details. Typically the "year" or "studio name".
Keywords - Keywords are
important because this is how the search function of the web
site allows customers to find your images more easily. Enter 2
to 10 keywords or key phrases describing your image. (Hint:
Don't forget to include YOU, (the photographers name) if you
want people to be able to find your images more easily!)
Keywords and/or key phrases can ONLY be separated using a
semi-colon (;). For example: "Colorado; Rocky Mountain
National Park; Elk; Joe Stevens"
Description - Description of the image, for example;
"Christmas morning sunrise from Margarita Beach, Key West,
Florida"
Category - Choose the
category that you want to add your media to. You can choose
multiple categories by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking
on the category name in the list.
Media Type - Click the
relevant radio button to specify the Media Licence Type. (for
now leave at n/a)
Release Status = Does the image
require a "Model Release" or "Property Release"?
Orientation - Is this a
"Horizontal" or Vertical" oriented image?
Product Type - Is this a
downloadable image? a print? a video clip? or what? (at the time
I am writing this, Download is the only option available, though
that may change soon)
Downloadable Link = Don't
for get to check this if your image is going to be available as
an instant download. And, don't for get to
upload your Hi Res "Download"
Image.
Shipping Cost: (leave at zero for

6) Click the "Submit" button to save the details and upload the
image file to the server.
